- No. 209 Gin
- 0.75 oz.
- Lillet Blanc
- 1.00 oz.
- Seltzer
- 0.50 oz.
- Peach Syrup*
- 0.25 oz.
- lemon juice
- 0.25 oz.
- Orgeat
- 1.00
- Basil Leaf
- 1.00
- Dash Peychaud's Bitters
Shake all ingredients except seltzer over ice. Add seltzer, roll, and strain. Garnish with slapped basil leaf.
*Peach Syrup
2 cups Sugar
2 cups Water
2 Large Peaches, cut into chunks
1 Small Chunk of ginger, peeled and thinkly sliced
12 Cardamom pods, lightly toasted
1 Bay Leaf
1 Small Piece of Mexican Cinnamon Bark
1 Tsp. Vannilla Extract
Simmer spices in water and strain out. Add sugar and return to a simmer, stirring to dissolve crystals. Remove from heat and add peaches and ginger. Let cool, blend and strain.
